Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 November 2026
This policy explains what personal data Telelogger (“we”) processes when you use Telelogger at telelogger.com, why, and what rights you have.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of your account data is Telelogger. You can reach us at [email protected].
For the Telegram content you choose to archive, you decide which groups are recorded and how the archive is used. We process that content on your behalf only to provide the service.
2. Data we process
Account data: your username, email address and a salted hash of your password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and Google account ID from Google and do not store a password.
Telegram connection: an encrypted Telegram session that lets the service read the groups and channels you select, and your phone number while you log in.
Archived content: messages, edit history, deletions, reactions, sender names and IDs, and — on the Pro plan — media from the groups you select.
Billing data: your plan, subscription status and the customer and subscription IDs from our payment provider. Card details and billing addresses are handled by Creem and never reach our servers.
Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you logged in, a cookie with your language, and short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses) used for security and troubleshooting. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
3. Why we process it
To provide the service you signed up for — creating your account, connecting Telegram and keeping your archive (performance of a contract).
To process subscriptions and payments (performance of a contract and legal obligations such as accounting).
To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix errors (legitimate interests).
4. Other people in your groups
Archived groups contain messages from other people. Telelogger only stores content your own Telegram account can already see. You are responsible for using the archive lawfully and for respecting the rights of other group members.
5. Who we share data with
Creem, our merchant of record, which processes payments, taxes and invoices.
Our hosting provider, which runs the servers that store the service data.
Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
Resend, which delivers our emails, such as the email confirmation link.
Telegram, which the service connects to on your behalf.
We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising. We may disclose data if required by law.
6. How long we keep data
Account data and your archive are kept while your account exists. When you disconnect Telegram, the session is closed and deleted, while your saved archive stays available until you delete it.
When an account is deleted, its archive, media and Telegram session are deleted. Billing records may be kept as long as tax and accounting laws require.
On the Free plan only the last 30 days of history are shown; older archived messages are kept so they become visible again if you upgrade.
7. Security
Passwords are stored as salted hashes, Telegram sessions are encrypted, connections use HTTPS, and every account can access only its own data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To use these rights, write to [email protected].
If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you may also complain to your data protection authority.
9. Children
Telelogger is not intended for anyone under 16.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be announced on the website, and the date at the top will change.
